“Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional.” -M. Kathleen Casey
I’ve been in a lot of pain. I got this prescription but I still won’t take it. Okay, I DID take one (a half one, actually) the first night but I just ended up trading the pain for an hour doubled over the toilet, puking up everything I’d eaten EVER and then dry heaving some more. So yeah, I’ll take the pain thanks.

If I want to see a movie and I find out that it’s based on the book, I feel compelled to read the book first. Once I read the book, I have a habit (an annoying one, if my husband gets a say) of nitpicking the movie to pieces. I can sometimes see why they have to change things (time restraints, whatever) but a lot of times they change something ridiculous – like the name of the street a person lives on – and that is SO irritating to me.
Anyway, that’s why I have this book. I still have not seen the movie so… don’t spoil it for me! I will say that I actually liked the ending to the book though I suspect it’s the same ending that made people hate the movie. (La la la la la la… I’m not listening… la la la la la la la…)

I don’t see what anyone can see in anyone else but you.
I kiss you on the brain in the shadow of a train.
I kiss you all starry eyed, my body’s swinging from side to side.
I don’t see what anyone can see in anyone else but you.
Here is the church and here is the steeple.
We sure are cute for two ugly people.
I don’t see what anyone can see in anyone else but you.
The pebbles forgive me, the trees forgive me.
So why can’t you forgive me?
I don’t see what anyone can see in anyone else but you.

(the sun does help, though)

We just bought Guitar Hero yesterday. It’s a little addictive.
