Today, during dinner, my phone rang. My phone never rings. Never. Unless it’s Kent when he gets out of work. I don’t answer my phone. I HATE the phone. If I didn’t get anxious at the thought of not having a phone (in case of emergency) then I would not have a phone. Seriously. Anyway, the phone rang and I checked the caller ID and it said Hillary Clinton. What? So I actually answered it, of course it was just a campaign thing (obviously, I knew SHE was calling, I’m naive but not THAT naive). She’ll be speaking at the University of Maine this weekend. I’m not interested. I already know that I’m voting for Obama in the primary. I’m much more interested in his rally this weekend in Bangor. If I could find a babysitter I would definitely be going to that one.
This is weird for me because for the first time EVER my husband and I are politically not on the same page. He is 100% for Clinton. I’m Obama all the way. Obviously, either one of them is better than the alternative but hey.
Hopefully I’m not making any enemies, haha. I know politics is one of those topics you shouldn’t touch unless you know where the other person stands.
