My computer went crazy yesterday. It got unplugged accidentally (aah, the joys of being a parent) and when it started up again it just kept rebooting. It would get to the windows screen where it looks like it’s loading.. then (as Monkey would say) “Foof!” it would restart. Thankfully I had just (I mean, JUST the night before!) backed up all my photos and videos. It’s odd because I got the urge to back those things up and then less than 12 hours later, the “FOOF!” happened. Meant to be, I guess.
I spent most of the night last night reformatting the hard drive and putting programs back on. I’m just SO GLAD that I didn’t lose my photos. I really would have been devastated.
I still don’t understand what happened. We have a surge protector. And the computer has been unintentionally unplugged more than once before without consequence. Anyway, all is well now. At least I knew how to fix it!
